06/06/2006 - Nutria Marina, Rio Dulce, Guatemala

Hello from Nutria Marina here in the Rio Dulce. We are safe and sound on a mooring. The Rio is absolutely beautiful, not to mention a perfect hurricane hole! We are getting used to our new surroundings and working hard at putting the boat to rest for the next four months. The Woodduck will be safe and sound here on the Rio while we travel back to the states to pick up a little bit of work and to avoid all of the rain that will be soon upon us.
