03/21/2006 - Transit of the Panama Canal

Well, we were supposed to make the transit today, but we got bumped again... they promise us that tomorrow (the 22nd) is the big day. So, you can log onto www.pancanal.com and see the web cam of the locks. We should be entering the first lock (Miraflores) around 8:30am (eastern time) and the second lock (San Miguel) around 9:30. The time of the final Gatun lock is a big question mark but maybe 3 or 4pm. Okay, will write more when we get to the Caribbean side!
