02/25/2006 - We are in Balboa, Panama

After being under way for almost three weeks, we are now secure on a mooring here at the Balboa Yacht Club in Balboa, Panama.  I will write more later about all of our adventures exploring the islands of northern Panama.  We are talking "off the grid" as in how remote the places were that we visited.  We will spend the next week preparing for our transit of the Panama Canal. Drew and Heather are flying in on the 2nd so we might be doing our transit as soon as March 3rd.  It all depends on how the paperwork pans out and how soon the canal authorities can schedule our transit.  For now, we are going to try and catch our breath and get our land legs back.  Hope all is well.  Please write us with questions or news or anything.  We love to get email.
